Surgical spine training is the backbone of Realists. Our philosophy is to produce maximally lifelike training systems that are visually as well as haptically oriented to the living organism. For this reason, all RealSpine cartridges feature nearly all RealSpine cartridges feature nearly all major anatomical structures as well as blood flow and cerebrospinal fluid.

All anatomical cartridges feature pathologies that are derived from real patient cases, increasing their realism.

The Realists Academy focuses on the teaching of competencies in connection with the RealSpine Training System. Its goal is to steepen the learning curve of each training participant while considering their individual needs.

The Realists Academy supports clinicians, customers and business partners especially in the following aspects:

This is a typical setup of an event with the Realists‘  RealSpine Training System.

Events with RealSpine differs significantly from events with cadavers in the following ways:

  • Cost effective training

Events can take place anywhere. There is no need to rent expensive premises. The event can take place directly at the organizer’s site, eliminating high travel costs.

  • Standardized pathologies

Unlike cadavers, all anatomical cartridges have a defined pathology. The pathology is also identical from cartridge to cartridge, allowing comparison of treatment results.

  • Life-like reproduction of human anatomy

Realists Training Systems mimic the living organism and, unlike cadavers, bleed and contain CSF.

  • Synthetic materials

All materials used are purely synthetic, so there is no risk of contamination.

  • Available everywhere

Realist’s technologies and services are available everywhere, even in countries where training on cadavers is limited to impossible.
